Blue Bag clean up

I want to thank all of my neighbors who turned out for the Blue Bag Cleanup.  In our territory from 12th to 17 from Topping to Belmont we collected over 50 bags of litter and trash.

 A big thanks to the folks at Public works, especially  Angela Williams and Michael Shaw,  for their help in making this cleanup possible.

I missed a lot of pictures do to a malfunctioning camera , sorry if it was your picture that got lost. but here are the few I do have. To see the many pictures took of the celebration event afterward.

Graffiti

The Winter saw Its usual crop of graffiti. A really bad tag was on the new walls that the Buddhist built  at their temple last year. So Belmont -Topping did a graffiti day on the first warm day. 2 of us worked 4 hours. While it is hard to remove all traces of the graffiti , it does look a lot better.
Thanks to Councilman Scott Wagner in his help in locating resources. And to city employees Deletta Dean, Tracy Bryant and Dalena Taylor for their speedy response that allowed us to remove the graffiti in a timely manner.
